R.O.O.T.S. Project Care Referral
Introducing the R.O.O.T.S Project: Resilient-Oriented Outreach and Therapeutic Support for African American Caregivers.
The R.O.O.T.S Project is a groundbreaking program dedicated to providing invaluable therapeutic support services for African American caregivers who selflessly care for individuals living with mental health disorders. Our initiative is specifically designed to address the unique challenges faced by caregivers in their pivotal roles, encompassing caring for children, elderly family members, and individuals with mental health disabilities. These disabilities encompass a wide range, including Bipolar Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Schizophrenia, Anxiety & Depression Disorders, Eating Disorders, Disruptive Behavior & Dissocial Disorders, ADHD, Autism, Alzheimer’s/Dementia & other Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
By amplifying resilience and offering therapeutic interventions, the R.O.O.T.S Project aims to uplift and empower African American caregivers, enabling them to navigate the complexities of their caregiving responsibilities with confidence and grace. Our comprehensive program offers a holistic approach, combining evidence-based therapies, culturally sensitive support systems, and community outreach initiatives to ensure optimal well-being for both caregivers and those in their care.
The care referral gives our partners the ability to submit referrals for caregivers in need of our services. Only participating institutions can submit referrals at this time.
